Because the Journey Matters...
TES offers several extra-curricular activities for students to get involved in. Many of the activities have been successful in meeting the students' goals. Some of these activites begin before school, some are during the school day, and a few are offered after school.
The following is a list of some of the activities and clubs that are offered:
Tarrant Elementary School Extracurricular Activities
Two students from each grade level are elected by classmates in the fall to serve as representatives for the Wildcat Council. The wildcat council will meet occassionally with the school counselor and principal throughout the school year and some service activities may be required.

Students interested in joining the Reading club should contact Ms. Parsons (Media Specialist) for more information.
Activities that occur within the school day where rewards may be given:
Any elementary student who is in attendance every minute of every school day will receive a certificate for Perfect Attendance. The student must arrive on time and stay for the entire school day.
Fall Festival/Field Day
TES has Fall Festival in October and Field Day in May of each year. All students are encouraged to participate. All students are recognized for their participation.
Students are encouraged to participate in this activity (usually in September). Prizes and incentives are usually given.
