I am so excited to spend a second year at Tarrant City Schools as the speech-language pathologist and to work with the students at Tarrant Elementary, Tarrant Intermediate School, and Tarrant High School. My goal is to empower students to be effective communicators, so they can be successful academically, vocationally, and socially.

I am from New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Tuscaloosa in 2011 to attend the University of Alabama. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication disorders and double minored in psychology and special education. I moved back home to New Orleans to attend Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and received my masters in communication disorders in 2017. As a graduate student clinician, I provided direct evaluation and intervention in Arthur Ashe Charter School, Ochsner Therapy and Wellness for Children’s outpatient clinic, LSU Health Sciences Center's Speech-Language Pathology Clinic, St. Tammany Parish Hospital's acute care unit and inpatient rehabilitation unit, and University of Alabama Speech and Hearing Clinic.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and running. I have completed 3 half marathons and 2 full marathons. I also love exploring my new city of Birmingham. I am looking forward to a great year at Tarrant!
