What an exciting year for all us ! Starting my third year as a Tarrant Wildcat English Teacher and fourteenth overall as an educator - and after the most bizarre of all previous school years - I anticipate eagerly seeing my former and brand new students.  Challenges will be formidable for us all, undoubtedly making for memorable year.

Each day I look forward to working, reading my latest book, and spending time with my family.  I am married (36 years and counting) to a teacher (the best there is) and we have four children, three grandchildren and one rascal of a dog.  After moving 9 times in 17 years (my Dad served in the U.S. Air Force), I graduated from high school in Montgomery, then earned a B.S. from Auburn (WDE) and started my teaching career.  After teaching for 11 years and a  two decade detour in the business world, I have been excited to get back to my first love of teaching students to think critically, to read discerningly, and to write and to speak with conviction . 

Additionally, I'm just a few steps from being an obnoxious sports fan of all things Auburn, The Braves, The Washington Football Team, The Wizards and Tottenham Hotspur.
