Black History Month feature

George Washington Carver was born in Missouri in 1864.  Carver’s parents were killed when he was a baby.  Moses and Susan Carver raised him.  George Washington Carver became a professor at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in Alabama.  Carver is known for inventing products using the peanut.  (taken from history.com)
