Our Mission:

The mission of the Office of Human Resources is to recruit, select, develop, and retain a high quality workforce committed to providing the very best educational experience for the students of the Tarrant City Schools.

The Human Resources Office is located at 1318 Alabama Street, Tarrant, AL 35217.  Our telephone number is (205) 849-3700.  Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.

The Human Resources policies and procedures for the Tarrant Board of Education are designed to meet the requirements of all state and federal regulations. We are a drug and alcohol-free workplace and participate in the E-Verify program. The E-Verify program verifies the identity of all persons hired to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.
