Tarrant City Schools is dedicated to upholding federal and state laws, as well as district policies and procedures, to ensure accessibility and fairness for all students, employees, parents, and community members. Our Compliance Director oversees the evaluation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of district-wide initiatives that promote ethical and lawful practices.
We are committed to providing facilities, programs, and services that are accessible to everyone. If you believe you have been denied access or experienced discrimination, please reach out to our department—ideally within 60 days of the incident. The Compliance Director will carefully review and respond to all concerns in a timely manner.

Ideally, this should be done within 60 calendar days of the incident. The Title IX Compliance Director will review all reported concerns and provide a response within a reasonable timeframe after receiving the written request.

ADA Title II Compliance Policy
Commitment to Accessibility and Non-Discrimination
In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the Tarrant City Board of Education is committed to ensuring that qualified individuals with disabilities have equal access to its services, activities, and programs. Discrimination based on disability is strictly prohibited.
Equal Employment Opportunity
The Tarrant City Board of Education upholds a non-discriminatory approach in hiring and employment practices, fully complying with the regulations set forth by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under Title I of the ADA.
Effective Communication
To ensure equal participation, the Tarrant City Board of Education provides necessary aids and services upon request for individuals with disabilities. These accommodations may include sign language interpreters, closed-captioning, and other accessible communication methods for those with speech, hearing, or vision impairments.
Policy and Procedure Modifications
Reasonable modifications to policies and procedures will be made to provide individuals with disabilities equal access to all programs, services, and activities. For instance, service animals are permitted in Tarrant City Board of Education facilities, even in areas where pets are typically restricted.
Requesting Accommodations
Individuals needing auxiliary aids, communication support, or policy modifications to participate in a program or event should contact the office of Matt Georgia as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
Limitations
While the Tarrant City Board of Education is committed to accessibility, it is not required to implement changes that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or create an undue financial or administrative burden.
Reporting Accessibility Concerns
Concerns regarding accessibility to any service, program, or activity should be directed to Matt Georgia.
No Additional Charges
The Tarrant City Board of Education does not impose extra costs on individuals with disabilities to cover the expense of auxiliary aids, services, or reasonable policy modifications, such as retrieving items from inaccessible public areas.
