Measuring the Important Things

Tarrant City Schools is a partner district with Studer Education. Over the past three years, we’ve developed annual scorecards that identify the most important measures of our school success. On our scorecard, we define which progress monitoring tools will best predict success on the final, summative measure and what strategic actions we’ll take to achieve our goals. All of our actions and ongoing monitoring align to the measures we select for the year, so we have to ensure we’ve picked the most important things to measure. 

Scorecards are a great tool for measuring progress, increasing focus, and organizing for continuous improvement.
