Profesional Summay: I am a native of Birmingham. Alabama. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts History (2005) at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and a Master of Education Secondary History (2011) at Alabama State University. My love for history has afforded me to be innovative with students and demonstrate leadership skills among my peers and interns as well. I enjoy teaching history and watching my students develop critical thinking skills needed to help them make connections. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner of history. I am always seeking out professional development opportunities to expand my knowledge and sharpen my content. I have been teaching for 15 years.
