  • Welcome to Tarrant High School! I am Randall Keith Jackson, honored to serve as the Principal of this esteemed institution. With a deep-rooted passion for education and a commitment to student success, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
     
    My journey in education is deeply intertwined with my own educational experiences. A proud graduate of Jackson High School, I embarked on my academic pursuits at Alabama Southern Community College, where I earned an associate degree in Paper and Chemical Technology in 1998. Continuing my educational journey, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Alabama in 2006, followed by a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership in 2013.
     
    Prior to my career in education, I spent several years in the pulp and paper industry, gaining valuable insights and experience that have enriched my approach to leadership and management. Transitioning into the field of education, I have dedicated 18 years to serving students, educators, and families, striving to make a positive impact in every role I undertake.
     Outside my professional endeavors, my greatest joy comes from my family. I am blessed to be married and have five wonderful children who inspire me each day. They are my source of strength and motivation, and their unwavering support fuels my dedication to serving our school community.
     
    Education is not just a career for me; it is my calling. I firmly believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and it is my mission to empower them to realize their fullest potential. Through nurturing relationships, rigorous academic standards, and comprehensive support systems, I am committed to preparing our students for the next steps of life, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
     
    I am excited to embark on this journey with you, and I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff, engaged families, and talented students to create a vibrant and thriving learning community.
