Hello there! I am Ms. Kim, and I teach English to Speakers of Other Languages at TIS. I like to ask my students, "I'm multilingual. What's your superpower?" as I'd like to nurture not only academic excellence but also foster a sense of affirmation in identity. I am from everywhere. After graduating high school in China, I returned to my home country, Korea, to pursue bachelor's degrees in English Linguistics and Spanish. I moved here in 2018 and finished my master's in Education. I live with my husband and two fur babies. In my leisure time, I love to get lazy at home, reading, journaling, and watching movies. Any book or movie recommendations, except for horror movies, are always welcome!
