Ms. Kellie Rogers

My name is Kellie Rogers, and I am the sixth grade science teacher at Tarrant Intermediate School. I grew up in Clay, Alabama where I attended Clay elementary, Clay-Chalkville middle and High school. I played volleyball and soccer for the school for 6 years. I graduated from Clay-Chalkville High School in May 2011, where I then attended the University of Montevallo in August 2011. While at Montevallo I was an active member of the Gold side where I served as assistant athletic director. I was the first girl to join to Montevallo fishing team. I also played intramurals and won many championships.  I graduated from the University of Montevall with a bachelors of science in elementary education in the spring of 2015 and began my teaching career at Tarrant Intermediate in the fall of 2015.

This is my seventh year teaching 6th grade science at Tarrant Intermediate School. I have enjoyed everything about Tarrant between the students, the community, and the atmosphere I could not imagine being anywhere else. My goal is to make an impact on student’s lives and provide them with someone that they will never forget and can always come back to talk to me about.
